THE NHRC INSTITUTIONAL REVIEW BOARD (IRB)

The IRB comprises of representatives of the following bodies, which is subject to periodic review:

Population group- NHRC
Kassena-Nankana District Administration
Kassena-Nankana District Assembly Health Committee
Kassena-Nankana Traditional Council
Academia-University for Development Studies Navrongo Campus
National Council for Women and Development Upper East Region Branch

As mandated by federal regulations, at least one member of the NHRC IRB is a clinical scientist, one a non-scientist and one a community representative.
