1994 DATA ASSISTANT: Navrongo Health Research Centre
I assisted the data managers in the daily updates on necessary changes to the data as demanded by the field. I also assisted in the design and printing of reports.
1991 – 1993 FIELD SUPERVISOR: Navrongo Health Research Centre
As a field supervisor, I conducted verbal autopsies on both child and adult deaths for the centre. I also acted as a link between the Field Workers as well as the Community Key Informants (who are also data collectors) and the research centre. I supervised these groups of people in their course of work and wrote reports on their activities as well as mine.
1991 – 1991 FIELD WORKER: Navrongo Health Research Centre, Navrongo.
As a field worker, my work centred mainly on data collection. I visited a cluster of 15 compounds daily with a questionnaire conducting interviews. For communities that were far from my residence, I was accommodated there.
