Raymond is part of a malaria research team that has conducted several research studies within the Kassena-Nankana district with the ultimate aim of trying a malaria vaccine within the research site. A bulk of these studies is being sponsored by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
Raymond also has a strong passion in health research ethics and has been working with the NHRC Institutional Review Board since 2003. He has travelled widely to attend health research ethics workshops and conferences both within and outside Africa. He has also received considerable training in Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
His research interest is in community-based interventions. Specifically, he is interested in community-based malaria control interventions as well as child and maternal health programs at the community level. He also has a strong desire to ensure that health research is conducted with the research participants and the community at heart.
