Tim

Tim was initially employed as a research assistant on the IPTi study in Navrongo in May 2000.Following his interest in data collection and analyses, he chose to build a career in statistics with particular emphasis in medical applications of the subject.

In pursuance of his career goals, he obtained a postgraduate diploma in Applied statistics from the University of Reading in the UK in 2004 and an MSc in medical statistics from the LSHTM in 2006.He worked with a team of statisticians in the MRC(UK) in the Gambia as part of his professional attachment after his training from the LSHTM.

His interests include:

• Clinical trials design ,coordination & implementation, and data analyses
• Analysis of  Longitudinal data
• Epidemiology of communicable diseases (eg. Malaria, HIV)
